“Bulger Fugitive Task Force investigators have reviewed all relevant material related to the recently reported sighting of James Bulger in San Diego. At this time, no one has concluded that the individual in question is in fact, James Bulger. However, as is done with all reported sightings and other lead information, logical and appropriate investigative steps are being taken in cooperation with law enforcement officials in San Diego.”
