MASSACHUSETTS MAN SENTENCED FOR TWO NEW HAMPSHIRE BANK ROBBERIES
CONCORD, NEW HAMPSHIRE – On May 3, 2007, Jeffrey Paul Ferland, 32, of Plymouth, Massachusetts, was sentenced to 57 months in federal prison after having pleaded guilty to two bank robberies; the October 6, 2006 robbery of the Northern Lights Federal Credit Union, Littleton, New Hampshire and the October 20, 2006 robbery of the Connecticut River Bank, Lancaster, New Hampshire.
Ferland was also sentenced to three years of supervised release which will begin after he is released from prison. During the period of supervised release, Ferland’s behavior will be monitored by the United States Probation Office. If Ferland violates the terms and conditions of his release, he could be sent back to prison.
This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Littleton and Lancaster Police Departments.
This case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Jennifer Cole Davis.
