WOMAN PLEADS GUILTY TO RECEIVING BANK ROBBERY PROCEEDS

CONCORD, NH—Acting United States Attorney for the District of New Hampshire Michael J. Gunnison, FBI SAC Warren Bamford, and Raymond Police Chief David Salios today announced that Jessica Belleville, 25, formerly of Manchester, New Hampshire, pleaded guilty yesterday in the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire to one count of receiving and using bank robbery proceeds relating to the July 25, 2008 robbery of the Sovereign Bank, 8 Epping Road, in Raymond.

On July 25, 2008, the Sovereign Bank located at 8 Epping Road, Raymond, New Hampshire, was robbed by Anthony Ledoux. Immediately after the robbery, Ledoux told Belleville, who was his girlfriend, that he committed the robbery and he gave Belleville a portion of the robbery proceeds. Evidence established that Belleville used some of the money to reclaim a laptop computer and a diamond ring from a Manchester pawn shop just hours after the robbery.

A sentencing hearing has been scheduled for July 9, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Belleville faces a statutory maximum sentence of 10 years imprisonment. Under the advisory sentencing guidelines used in federal court, Belleville’s sentence is likely to be less than 10 years.

The Raymond Police Department and the FBI investigated this case.
