FBI ASKS PUBLIC FOR HELP IN LOCATING TWO BANK ROBBERS

Warren T. Bamford, Special Agent in Charge of the Boston office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), is asking for the public's help in locating Cheryl A. Boutilette, who is wanted for the April 4, 2007 robbery of the Hyde Park Savings Bank. Additionally, a second individual is being sought in connection with this bank robbery.

On April 9, 2007, a criminal complaint was filed in West Roxbury District Court, West Roxbury, Massachusetts, charging Cheryl A. Boutilette, age 24, with armed Bank Robbery for the alleged April 4, 2007, robbery of the Hyde Park Savings Bank, located at 1920 Centre Street, West Roxbury, Massachusetts. She is described as a white female, 5'7", 135 lbs., green eyes, with dark brown hair. Her last known address is 81 Bowdoin Street, Dorchester, MA.

According to the complaint, on April 4, 2007 at approximately 1:50 p.m., Boutilette entered the Hyde Park Savings Bank and approached the teller with a note demanding money and stating that she had a gun. Boutilette exited the bank and was chased by two police officers who were in the bank at the time. She ran around the corner where she entered a red 2002 Ford Windstar bearing MA registration 573 CJJ. The driver of the Windstar was described as a Hispanic male, 5'7", with a mustache. He may or may not wear glasses.

The search for Boutilette and the unidentified Hispanic male is being conducted by the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force and the Boston Police Special Investigations Unit.
