partnerships and joint task forces with local, state and other federal
law enforcement agencies. The task forces and their missions are listed

Violent Fugitives Task Force
The Boston Division Violent Fugitives Task
Force was formed to coordinate efforts among the below listed federal,
state and local agencies to track and apprehend fugitives:

Task Force
This task force
utilizes the resources of several agencies on a full-time/part-time
basis to disrupt and dismantle organized crime operations in the four
state area:

Attorney's Strike Force

Bank Robbery Task Force
The Boston Division Bank Robbery Task Force
(BRTF) was formed to coordinate the efforts of the local, state and
federal law enforcement agencies in order to help solve the large number
of bank robberies/armored truck heists committed within the metropolitan
Boston area. The BRTF is comprised of the following agencies:
- Boston, Massachusetts, Police Department
- Cambridge, Massachusetts, Police Department
- Massachusetts, State Police
- FBI
Drug Task Force
The proliferation of drugs and drug-related
crime are addressed by the Boston office Drug Task Force. This task
force brings together the talents and resources of the Boston Police
Department, the US Drug Enforcement Administration and the FBI.
Joint Terrorism Task Force
The JTTF is responsible for all domestic
and international terrorism matters in the four-state territory. The
JTTF mission is to prevent acts of terrorism before they occur, and
to effectively and swiftly respond to any actual criminal terrorist
act by identifying and prosecuting those responsible. The following
agencies participate in the JTTF on a full- or part-time basis:
